The Silapa Sri Group has organized a historical photo exhibition "Farewell to Heaven" to honor and commemorate the great kindness of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, who passed away on October 13, 2016.

This photograph was captured by Ms. Wathinee Huaysan, a travel news editor for Siam Rath newspaper, using a Fuji xe-1 camera with a Fujifilm 50-230 lens. It depicts the royal procession of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej's body from Siriraj Hospital to the Grand Palace. As the royal chariot approached Pin Klao Bridge, Ms. Huaysan, positioned on the Ratnokosin Hotel on Ratchadamnoen Road, captured this image. The photograph was subsequently published on the front page of Thai Rath newspaper on October 15, 2016.

Inside the exhibition
The event featured a panel discussion with photographer Vathinee Huaysaen, who shared the inspiration behind her photograph, and renowned saxophonist Tewan Traiprasan, who spoke about his admiration for King Bhumibol Adulyadej's musical talents. The discussion served as a tribute to the late King and a commemoration of the second anniversary of his passing.
